Blizzard conditions did not stop the St. Vrain Community Council from playing Santa Claus at the Boulder County Fairgrounds on Wednesday.
Because of the weather, volunteers for the council’s Holiday Basket Program opened the doors at 10 a.m., three hours earlier than planned, to accommodate families venturing out on snow-packed roads.
