OUR CENTER STAYS OPEN OVERNIGHT FOR THE CITY'S HOMELESS

Volunteers from Boulder County Cares worked through Wednesday to shelter the city’s homeless residents from the blizzard.
The Longmont branch of the organization, which began operating in October, was transporting people to the OUR Center, which stayed open overnight for the first time.
“Our main job is getting people out of the cold, keeping them warm and keeping them safe,” said Edwina Salazar Waldrip, executive director of the OUR Center.
