Mural-recreation Project Will No Longer Push Through
Full Description:
After assessments on re-creating ateen-painted mural honoring Hispanic role models at the Longmont Youth Center amounted up to $50,000--the plans have been put to a halt.
The original mural honoring poet and activist Corky Gonzales, among other great Hispanics was painted a year ago and painted over by city workers saying that it was "unapproved" by the city government.
